00 Welcome in 38CC! Soft or hard “C”

Speak the language or get out!

Jimmy’s gonna walk us through his outfit.

The White Sox are collapsing and have fallen out of first place.

Awful management and some of the worst Batting Averages in the league.

Jimmy’s watched 90% of the games this year.

He’s also wearing a Solheim Cup cap despite the US losing. He got up at 2am to watch it.

The matches were in The Netherlands.

Jimmy talks about the players including ine who had surgery and stomach issues.

Cigarette advertisements officially ended on United States television at midnight on January 2, 1971.

Major entertainment companies and streaming platforms (such as Netflix and traditional studios) introduced self-regulated policies around the 2010s to limit or eliminate tobacco depictions in youth-rated content.

The guys talk about being near smokers.

Eliot talks about someone having a vape and some kind of attachment that captured the vape smoke.

10 – Jimmy saw Journey over the weekend. He took the train and it was the same time there was a USC game.

A lot of young folks that didn’t seem to let the older ladies (or Jimmy) sit down.

Jimmy eventually tapped some young dude’s shoulder and made him get up so the older lady could sit down.

Jimmy talks about the midnight train riders who seem to like to scream at people.

Journey continues to have the worst sound mixing in music.

Their mixer has sucked for probably 20 years according to Jimmy.

Talking Jonathan Cain and his wife, Trump’s spiritual advisor.

Will Jimmy go to the last Journey concert in San Francisco?

Will Steve Perry show up?

20 – Matt saw a concert in NY. He went to a podcast conference.

Thanks to True Native and the fans for checking out the products!

We over deliver on ads and that’s because of the listeners!

Matt saw Don Lemon. Shortest celeb sighting ever.

Zoe came up to visit him as well so they went to see Harry Styles.

25 – Matt also saw Lost Boys.

He enjoyed Harry Styles!

Talking the Emmy’s opening. “most uncomfortable five minutes of your life.” – Jimmy

Dolly gets a big tribute at the Emmys.

Dolly Parton performed on The Porter Wagoner Show for seven years, from September 1967 until early 1974.

Nicolas rear ended Matt once when he was drunk.

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/emmys-2026-in-memoriam-omissions-1236701657/

Matt also saw the Giants opening game. His first football game.

Football games get LOUD.

Eddie Trunk talking good about the Giants for a change.

40 – The opening marching band and Hamilton stuff was extremely bad audio and you couldn’t hear any of the audio in the stadium.

45 – The yearbooks are here! No spoilers. There’s some fun stuff you can blame on Eliot.  He compares it, somehow, to Backrooms.

Calvin Coolidge was our 30th president. He did not live to see Death of a Salesman.

The play is a famous 1949 tragedy play written by Arthur Miller that explores the painful gap between reality and the hollow promise of the American Dream.

Maddy Kelly is here!

Maddy tells us her history of moving from Vancouver to the US and then back to Vancouver for a while. She also had a disasterous stint in NYC.

Great comedy scene in Vancouver, before the pandemic at least.

60 – James R Pardo Jr, business man, will go see the magic snake show.

Maddy hates swans. Her parents both have negative swan stories about Maddy.

Elise is afraid of snakes. Anaconda made it worse. At some point a neighbor’s snake got loose. They also released mice so that the snake could eat.

They used to hide a stuffed snake around the apartment while that snake was missing.

1h5m – Maddy’s other big fear is sink holes or dyign in dirty water. She doesn’t want to drown. She’d rather be in a fire.

Jimmy’s scared about getting caught under ice. Nothing to worry about because he’ll never walk on ice.

Talking Titanic and submercibles to visit it.

Scuba diving at the site is strictly prohibited by Canadian law, featuring a 500-meter restricted radius. Only unmanned remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) are permitted to survey the area.: The ship’s original bell was recovered during a 1995 expedition and is now on display at the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point, where it is rung 29 times each year in memory of the crew. A replica bell engraved with the crew members’ names was left on the wreck as a permanent memorial.

Mike Reiss, a writer and producer for The Simpsons, took a tourist dive to the Titanic wreck in 2022 using OceanGate’s Titan submersible. Due to a malfunctioning compass and poor visibility, they landed about 500 yards away from the historic target and only caught a brief glimpse of the bow with 20 minutes left in the dive.
