However, over the course of the sitcom’s 11 seasons, Arthur Fonzarelli was indeed involved in on-screen physical altercations, scuffles, and boxing ring advice sessions. He famously even got knocked around (and kicked through a window) by a karate-trained Tom Hanks playing Dr. Wayne Twitchell in a Season 10 episode, and later courtroom testimony in Season 11 referenced Howard getting punched by Fonzie in a hotel room.
