Passing the Mic: Episode #523 with Pat Francis
Here’s a special entry of Never Not Notes. I’m taking you back in time to the most infamous of Never Not Funny episodes: the “mic throwing” episode.
It was a more innocent time, back in September of 2009, and we all remember exactly what we were doing when we first heard the news that Jimmy Pardo threw a microphone in exasperation during the Never Not Funny taping.
But true to the “we don’t edit, jerk” philosophy of the show, the incident and its fallout and followup are left intact in the show. If you haven’t seen or heard it, go here and drop a few dollars to get the episode in both audio and video format.
I won’t pass judgement on whether Matt and Pat were crosstalking too much, stepping on Jimmy’s stories, and basically deserving of Jimmy’s wrath; no, I won’t make such a judgement at all. I’ll let you draw your own conclusion.
I think Jimmy was all jacked up on Monster Energy Drink and over-reacted to a normal situation on NNF. FOR HUMOR, of course. 🙂
