00 – Everybody get up! Episode 1425! Season finale! Get your finances in order for the Players Club!

There’s some dumb dumbs out there but for the most part we’ve got a smart and savvy audience.

ALapolooza!

Whenever we make fun of song parodies we are NEVER talking about Weird Al. Same with Jeff Dunham, impressionists, Carrot Top, etc. Jimmy’s always referring to the second tier hack people.

NNF is never a destination point! We reach out to get the people we want to have on the show. We’ve been trying to get Al for a while.

Weird Al is a joy and a nice man! Jimmy introduced Matt Walsh to Weird Al at Conan the other day.

Matt says Matt Walsh might be the Philip Seymour Hoffman of this new tornado movie, Into The Storm.

Twister and When a Man Loves a Woman almost made Jimmy hate Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Side story: Graham and Jimmy saw When a Man Loves of Woman together except separately because they didn’t want to compromise on where they sat. The movie film breaks halfway through and jimmy yells out, “UNREAL!” and Graham lost it.

Jimmy talks about breaking up with Jennifer. They were texted recently, and her daughter thinks he is funny. He knew Jennifer when she was 17 and gives their history. If she would have texted him that he was “always a terrific lover” he’d have had to burn his phone.

10 – They got stuck in the garage because the system to pay was down. Danielle tried to open the gate but it was hydraulic and she couldn’t open it.

Jimmy to the woman trying to help: “Figure it out or I’m going through the fucking gate!”

Jimmy to Oliver: “Son that’s a lesson, if you don’t get what you want threaten to run through a gate.” They got to the puppet show a little late and had to knock and Jimmy asked Oliver what they do if they don’t open. Oliver: We run the gate!

We lost the great Elaine Stritch. She was great. Jimmy described her as a “sassy old broad” when he saw her one woman show on HBO.

15 – Jimmy worked with Robert Klein at the Improv last week. He doesn’t remember why he brought it up.

“Watch your temper, jerk.” – Jimmy to himself.

Robert Klein made Jimmy laugh really hard when he told a joke about some old comic he said he was a one trick pony like Ruth Buzzie and then riffed on her for a minute before going back to his act. Jimmy was in tears.

60 – The guys talk Dennis Miller. The Sklars ask if Jimmy is asking them to remember a time when Dennis Miller was funny. Apparently, he was a dick to Jason at least twice. He can separate that from the time he looked up to him and loved his comedy. Same with Jay Leno.

65 – They talk more about Dennis Miller and having him be a dick to them. They were supposed to meet him at the airport but they had the wrong gate info so Dennis had to walk to the car alone. Randy found him and Dennis just LAID into him. Dennis was one of their heroes.

70 – “Jimmy Pardo opened the show with a more traditional style of comedy.” – Jimmy’s pull quote from his review when he opened for Dennis. The show started great but ended in walk outs when Dennis turned to his right wing new outlook mid show.

The Sklars are gonna throw the pitch out at a Cardinals game in September. They did it before and someone booed them because he did a fake to first. Jason confronted the guy and he backed down.

Jimmy recounts the advice Ed Farmer gave him, “You’re playing catch with your dad.”

One video Jimmy saw of his pitch the guy filming said, “wow great pitch!”

80 – John Danks caught Jimmy’s pitch.

Jimmy tells a golf story about Artie Johnson golfing in the group before them. He then tells about the guy in the locker room being asked what celebrity they had in their group, “I dunno some game show host named Jimmy Pardo.”
