65 – Jimmy doesn’t know what he ate while he was down there but it was delicious and he is worried about what it was that it might ruin the experience of enjoying it.
Jimmy enjoyed a filet mignon while down there. He called it Phenomenal.

Time for trip talk!
Jimmy thanks the listeners for donating the money and basically made this trip possible. Jimmy calls the trip life altering.
85 – Matt and Jimmy talk about meeting the families of kids getting the surgeries.
90 – The smile train people they met were amazing. Dr. Monica was one of the nices people they’ve ever met.
Jimmy talks about some stand out moments he had on the trip but sidetracks into talking about the speech he had to give!
95 – Jimmy talks about the families being impoverished but happy and prideful. The families are so full of love it’s inspiring. Jimmy talks about how you see poverty on TV but you don’t really see it accurately until you are in person.
The families bought the guys gifts! They pooled together money to buy them all mayan statues. They even pulled metal sculptures from the walls and gave to them.
The two stand out moments for jimmy: at the dinner, jimmy saw a before and after picture of a girl named Angie, Jimmy said she was beautiful and the father pointed at the doctor and said Him with such gratitude. Jimmy and Matt call the doctor a magician.
The other stand out for Jimmy was meeting the little boy who saw Jimmy in the hospital and ran over to give him a big hug.
Jimmy and Matt left their gift baskets with the families. It had some EXPENSIVE looking whiskey in it.

As moving and as life changing as it was, they also had a great, great time. Lots of laughs. Some many great people.
The guys talk about going to the surgery and being late because Mexico doesn’t care about clocks.
Jimmy says there was just enough blood to make him woozy. He is not having candy in 2015, so he had a medical piece of sugar to stop from fainting.
Matt talks about the anesthesiologist calling the surgeon “maestro.” They called the excess lip after the surgery, “scraps for the cat.”
Jimmy scrubbed in just in case he got asked to assist.

They had a great time. They laughed like idiots on the plane and when it was time to be serious they were serious. Even though it wasn’t a “Serious” type of situation. It was fun and positive.
