Slope Rating measures the relative difficulty of a golf course for players who are not scratch players compared to those who are scratch players.

A scratch golfer is a golfer who shoots the same score as the course rating or better.

Yes, rangefinders are allowed in golf during casual play and tournaments, but not during competition rounds at some events. The Rules of Golf allow distance-measuring devices (DMDs) like laser rangefinders and GPS devices to provide information on distance and direction. However, they cannot calculate elevation changes, wind speeds, or suggest a club for a player. Many rangefinders can provide this information, but most have a switch to turn it off.

Urban Cowboy – After moving to Pasadena, Texas, country boy Bud Davis (John Travolta) starts hanging around a bar called Gilley’s, where he falls in love with Sissy (Debra Winger), a cowgirl who believes the sexes are equal. They eventually marry, but their relationship is turbulent due to Bud’s traditional view of gender roles.
