He moved to LA to follow a girl. She was a model in ST Louis and found out that St Louis models and LA models are not the same. She didn’t stay, Willie did. He started doing extra work. His first extra gig was Akeelah and the Bee, and then did The Bernie Mac Show. He talks about it and how he met Bernie Mac who referred to him as “this melting milk dud ya’ll talking to?”
